After some weeks preparing the car, eliminating rust, and all the fun things we usually found in body tasks :cry:
base coat and pearl coat is done...yeah still haven't put the clear for some financial problem
It doesn't look that bad, considering it was in a pretty bad shape, and that I can't make miracle, but a paint is not a paint without clear so I we can't talk about the final look, but I wanted to show some of my progress.
So next step is clear and an intercooler setup.
I'm beginning with the intercooler because my dad changed the turbo for a new oem one a couple of weeks before letting the car sleep.
But the turbo was getting red.... He said it was defective but toyota didn't want to exchange cause he install it himself. So I hopes the turbo is fine and the problem was a cooling/lubrificating problem...even if the defective cause is more in my mind.
any thoughts about this??
