Mo's Memorial Day Build-Up--Compliments of Slow66 & Shaeff

Well, yesterday a lot was accomplished. I was lucky enough to have Slow66 and Shaeff stop by my place and help me fab up some Intercooler Pipes and wire up my Maft-Pro. The Day started off with Bryan and Chris showing up at my place at 8 am :cry: . After everything was said and done, all my intercooler pipes were welded up, the Maft-Pro was wired and she started right up after almost 3 YEARS!! She's running extremely rich and needs a good tune, but thats coming soon. Take a look at the pics and let me know what you guys think. Thanks again for the help guys!

Edit: Oh yeah, I should mention Slow ate 3 huge plates of my mothers good 'ol spanish cooking and could barely move haha.

Very nice. It's good to have friends willing to help you work on your car. It's a whole lot easier to get motivated when you have help. It can be a bit overwhelming trying to do things by yourself.

Now get her tuned up and make us some videos.

It sure is man. I've been trying to get these made for about a year. Slow and Shaeff offered to come over without hesitation. I can't say enough as far as the amount they helped me.

Just for refference, this is my set-up:

Re-built motor with 3k miles
-Re-balanced crank
-Crower Rods
-.40 JE Pistons/ Rings
-Titanium Valve Springs & Retainers
-2.0mm HKS Stopper HG
-Stainless Steel Valves
-Level 5 Frankenstein Greddy TD06-20g (Garrett E60 Compressor Wheel/Flows 750 CFM) on a ported stock manifold
-Port & Polished Intake manifold
-Ported Throttle Body (64.6mm, Duane's old set-up)
-680cc Injectors, Walpro etc......

Yes it is....I know it's a little heavy, but at least it's durable. Everything else on the car is heavy, might as well have heavy pipes too. haha

Just one. I think I had 2 45 degree bends, 2 90's, 1 U-bend and maybe 2 feet of straight pipe.

Good, theres no pics of me all bloated from Mo's moms delicious meals.....

All in all it was a productive and still fun day. Mo and Chris are 2 cool mofo's. I had fun bringing some of my fabrication "skills" (if they can be called that) to the table.

Chris, you missed seeing her make some noise! She needs a bit (or alot) of tuning, but she's solid

I hope to see you guys again at Lebanon, or if you need a hand on your project Chris....
