my buddy has a 1J MKIII with 2J cams, 550's, walbro, WB, AVCR, SAFCII, and a slight tune

my car is stock with intake and exhaust. no tune pig rich LOL

i had my wife in the car he had no passenger, both running the same boost

ok here's the story


we were at a local meet til 130am. at the end of the night i started to talk shit about how i can beat him. he wants to race now.

so we leave get on the road and we do 8 or 9 runs

first couple i was in 3rd he was in 2nd at like 35-40 mph. i honk 3 times and take off. i pull a half a car and hold it to 110-120....we shut down.

we do this 4 more times with the same ending....me winning.

so he says "yur jumping" i say "no you have no reaction on the third honk we go!!!"

so this time i drop to 2nd and so does he......i hnk and on the 3rd honk i gave him time to take off and i lay into it. instantly i get a half a car and then pull a little more then he brings it BACK to end up losing by a half a car.

All in all it was a BADASS weekend we raced around town all night

ofcourse tissimo's 2J car was out on top on all his runs LOLOL

i definitely have to say i got a HEALTHY motor

yea we'll be out with a few mkiiis.. I'll be running, josh (reaper) should be running as well.. and maybe my buddy aaron (the one he smoked).. lol.. we're going to try changing his injectors, as we think one might be weak causeing some det..
