Well I got the recirculation kit for the HKS SSQV blow off and I'm still having issues. At first it started to run right but the next morning after getting off the highway and arriving at the gas station the engine acted like it was miss firing or something and it stalls. I put a shorter hose on the kit and it started to drive a little better but I'm still lost. Thinking I need to take it somewhere to get it to run right.

Codes?

Try resetting the ecu. You should reset the ecu everytime after you make a change.

Also sounds like you could possible have a boost leak.

Not to sound dumb but how do you reset the codes. I also had it checked for boost leaks and there wasn't any. all the hoses are good and tight with the clamps you screw on

You pull the 15A EFI fuse in the engine bay for about 1 minute for the codes and I would recheck the clamps that are on the rubber hose that comes off the turbo and goes to the intercooler.

ok, I checked everything and cleared the codes by disconnecting the battery but it still stuttering. So I started to troubleshoot and took the hose and off and put it back to the way it was before. THere obvously a fuel problem because it backfires and misses while driving except when under boost, it pulls just find. I think something wrong with one of those air or emissions sensors, probably need to take it to a shop or something. Or if there a crack on one of the air duct. I still honestly think its a sensor though thats gone
bad

check your wires on your afm there might be a break. the semtoms sound like to me that you are having afm problems. my afm went bad and it ran like crap under normal ecceleration and did good under boost. when it went bad it just breifly turned the engine light on. it puzzled me for a while until i checked for codes. im not saying go out and buy a afm because they are expensive. borrow a working one from someone to test it first or try a scrap yard.

get a paper clip and stick each end in the E1 and Te1 section of the diagnostic box and look at the check engine light to see if it blinking regularly (means no codes) or if there is a ceratin pattern (codes)
