(different dyno)

I would have run more boost, but I still have a weak spring in my WG which isn't allowing me to up my boost to where I want it (notice how the power falls off as well).

My question is.. one of these dyno's have to be wrong.. right?

Thats crazy! What kind of dyno is the second one? Ive heard of the mustang dyno and dynojet being different, but this is news to me. Im interested to what others will suggest.

Yea, pretty weird. The first was a dynojet, the second was a "Dyno Dynamics" the guy said it was Ausie-made.

Oh, and on my first pull my car came off the dyno.. scariest moment of my life.:cry:
Luckily he felt the car lifting, let off, and got on the brakes. I did hit the fan tho..


I will definately be posting a clip of it in the Video section when I get my hands on the clip.

thats the problem with dyno'n on different types. its a lot harder to compare.

yes there are some differences, but i think the cooler temps had more of an effect than the type of dyno you ran on. that and the 2 more psi on top of that.

congrats on the new numbers!

haha, well I have a walbro in back feeding a surgetank up front, and the 044 is in the fender. I've said it before.. my car sounds like a giant vibrator :).

Seriously tho, it doesn't bother me.. and I can only hear the walbro from the inside of my car (just because it's right under my hatch).

seems fine.. 2 more psi could add that extra power.. 25 per psi.. dynodynamic is a load dyno so boost will come on harder and faster so more torque.. not sure if the extra boost + the dynodynamic would make 100 more though.. i would say #s seems about right..

dynos are for tuning.. see what mph it pulls in the 1/4 ;)
