Ohhhh..I have not updated this in a while.....lots have happened since then :
First...had to replace the Crssida with yet another engine...and that works very nicely. Story of the Cressida ends here.
Now the Supra :
Decided to pull off all the turbo and intake piping, valve covers and give the engine a bit of life :

Which led to me winning this and a deal for a JawsGear one piece driveshaft - Thanks Jeff

Well, since then nothing much has happened until last week:
I found motivation to finally remove the 1jz and get the 2jz together
Sold the 1jz to a frined and installed it last weekend : Its tunnung beautifully and joins the ranks of yet another 1jz powered happy Supra owner.
Here goes the R&R :
Had to pull my 1jz and replace with a new flywheel and clutch.
Checked to make sure all seals, hoses, wiring were in good working condition before installing in my friend's car :

Looks like I have most of the stuff for my 2jz now. I am taking extra time to clean up the parts and paint up what needs to be painted. Since it is out, might as well.
All Seals and gaskets are brand new. Everything one of them.Head is completely rebuilt.
I want to give big thanks to my good frineds at Jawgear - Jeff, Ti and Eric for getting/finding me all the parts I needed at great deals. Its like a one stop shop for me lol.
And a big thanks to Cedric - aka JustAnotherVictim for letting me borrow his "dildo" looking tool so I could put my head together It took me less than an hour to assemble the head with that tools. Awesome.

ok , I finally got my ARP head studs from VIC Hubbard. Not bad..it came in 3 days.
Also went to Sears and picked up a nice 1/2 inch torque wrench - got a great deal on it - Thanks Krish. (91 mK3) "Now you feel better" ? lol
Here are some pictures - Head is torqued to 90ft/lbs ( hope this is enough) lol
Oil pan is on and tomorrow, the cams, and timing blet and front covers will be on.
The valve covers are with my friend who offered to powdercoat them for me...
