MKIV wheel tire sizes

I went with 245/40R17 F and 275/40R17 R... still haven't mounted them yet, so I can't say how they'll fit.

After talking to annoyingrob, i decided the extra 10mm of rubber wasn't worth it for the 255/285 combo... I prefer a bit of stretch as opposed to a bit of bulge.

If you guys want to run wider tires on mkiv rears, I would get them widened. As was said before, you're not doing anything for the contact patch by running 275+ tires.
