I found a guy who has some mkiv supra wheels for sale and they are from a nonturbo, and I was wondering if there is a difference in the turbo and nonturbo wheels. I searched and just got a bunch of forsale threads....thanks in advance.

TT wheels are 17x8 and 17x9.5

Non turbo if im not mistaken are 17x8 all around.

Non turbo ones are 16x8 and 16x9 IIRC. I know they are 16's and the rear is possibly wider. Just don't exactly remember the rear width.

Well, at least they are not 15s.

Check around they can be had cheap.

I had 98 oem chrome TT rims with 2 good tires for $600, the front were worn. I sold them 2 years later with tires in worse condition for the same price.

I've seen painted and polished TT's sell for under $400.

OEM 98 are not chrome.

They are polished.

Thanks a lot guys, yeah this guy stopped by my shop today and ask for directions and I seen his mkiv and asked him how much for the wheels and he wants $400 for them with wheels and tires(in good shape). Its a nonturbo supra, and even if they are 16s and as long as they are 9inch in the rear, I may still get em. What do you guys think about the price?

If the tires are looking good and the wheels are in good shape, I'd say it's a pretty good deal. Better than the sawblades IMO.

Anything is better than my sawblades.....Im just looking for a wider rim so I cant put some bigger rubber on the back.....Im still a little unsure about putting another set of 16s on my supra though:nono:

do a search, can't remember if it was here or SF, but there was a thread of nothing but pics of mkiii's w/ n/a mkiv wheels. best bang for the buck if you ask me. btw, i paid $200 for mine w/o rubber. $400 is a pretty good deal so long as the tread is decent.
