Mkiv tt wheel fitment

Can I go 245/45/r17 for the front on mkiv tt wheel without spacers and not rub. Or should I go 235/45/r17 for the fronts.

I have 245s out back and 235s up front, no spacers an no probs

I'm running a 245/45 up front.
It'll rub a littleee on the tension rods at full lock but nothing major.

Ah i am running d2 coils though so it might rub:/

That helps. So you think with stock suspension set up it will rub. I have the stock saw blades on right now with 225/50/16 and when fully turned there is about 2 inches from the tire to the spring. Granted your not driving so there is no way to really know how close you get.
