Meh - the Recaro seats are light, but the fabric on them is terrible and they aren't anywhere near as comfortable after 100+ miles.

Fabric > Leather
MkII seats > MkIII seats > MkIV seats

Anyone else notice that the leather used on the seats has gotten worse over the years? The MkII leather was awesome - thick, tough, supple... then the MkIII leather lost a good portion of the durability... the MkIV leather is freaking awful. If they had released a MkV, I'm sure the leather would have been cracked from the factory!

I have no issues driving distances in my Recaros...

After having them for almost a year, I like them considerably more than the normal factory seats.

^^arent they heated as well.

IDK, ive been toying with the idea of going to black interior with the MKIV front seats and a black leather rear (or no rear at all)

MKIII seats are very comfortable, and I've always loved leather. One of the few people I know that does. I also enjoy the smell of warm leather after it's been sitting in the warm California sun.

Most people love the stock seat.

I agree.

On the leather seats, the drivers seat has all the electricals, tilt, swivel, lumbar support, making the seat close in squeezing your back or expand it.. (around the lats), the bottom part of the seat also tilts up and down from two points.. front and rear of the bottom.

I haven't sat in MKIV seats, but from the GT Limited's leather electrical seat ( I'd think TurboA would also have it ) don't think you'd get much better for the MK3, never thought the seat wasn't comfy either once adjusted to your seated position.

Where are these seats from? I notice the piping and was wondering if these are from leatherseats.com. Also, are they 2 tone or are my eyes tricking me? lol

They are two tone, mine aren single tone and whre his is the second tone is where the perferations are on original leather seats.

Probably re-trimmed? Look hot either way.

leather is overrated....

it's a bitch to take care of, it's cold in the winter, hot and sticky in the summer...

shall I go on?

Now, as I've driven mine in the hot summer, I have to disagree. Maybe it depends on the leather, but with mine...I disagree:icon_bigg

And on fabric... spill some dring...and go get it chemically washed (IF it get's it out, and if not...then...sorry :D). Leather on the other hand, get a cloth and wipe it off :) Then use some cleaner, and finito.
