MKIV Seats in the MKIII?

Bahh...the rear ones on the pics seem to be MKIII ones anyways...And now I don't like how the MKIV ones look

I agree, MkIV seats are fugly
Looks like a downgrade to me? Not sure if the material is nicer or not but it doesn't look as nice with the rest of the mkiii interior.
leather is overrated....

Where are these seats from? I notice the piping and was wondering if these are from leatherseats.com. Also, are they 2 tone or are my eyes tricking me? lol
Yeah, mkiv seats may look great, but they offer no upper body support. Maybe it's me, but their head rest is non adjustable, and is way too far back for my liking. The seats on my mkiii are nothing short of awesome. If you like leather, have your seats recovered. But the mkiv seats simply suck to sit on for anything over 10 minutes. This is from persona experience.
Meh - the Recaro seats are light, but the fabric on them is terrible and they aren't anywhere near as comfortable after 100+ miles.

Anyone else notice that the leather used on the seats has gotten worse over the years? The MkII leather was awesome - thick, tough, supple... then the MkIII leather lost a good portion of the durability... the MkIV leather is freaking awful. If they had released a MkV, I'm sure the leather would have been cracked from the factory!

I just sat in my nice MKIII cloth seats and my God are they comfortable. I love how they have so much support all around that you are firmly planted, but are very comfortable at the same time.
