MKIII's production numbers

Does anyone know where i could find them? I mean like with MKIV supra's, where u could know which year ware produced more red hardtops, more black targas and so on... I cant find such statistics for MKIII anywhere :cry:

Am, i have this chart, but I was looking like how many black targas ware build at year 1991, how many red targas and so on. I'm looking for a chart dependant on cars color and body tipe

price probably, which I think is one of the reasons they stoped making the mk4 in the states. Not sure though, probably multiple reasons.

I think they tried going for the corvette market and the guys lookin to buy cars at that price point opted for the car they grew up with, the corvette...

thats funny.. I see a good ammount of stock supras in my area, 90% of them are pre-89 N/A's. I think it has a good deal to do with the location.

I do agree that there are most 89+ or 89+ converted cars on the forums. I'm a minority.

Because the forums are filled with enthusiasts, and it seems most enthusiasts prefer 89+. I've done polls before, almost always, 87 and 89 are the top numbers. 87 because there are the most of them (Turbos), and 89 because that was the year with most 89+ Turbos.

Not everyone with a Supra is on the forums.

The decline in sales after 1990 also possibly because of an 80's body style in the sleek 90's? You know all the cars coming out in the early 90's. 3000gt's and such. And price. Price definately.

Oh I know, it's just that most times...when I'm on a forum and I see a MKIII...it's an 89+

I guess it is location, between where my parents live and where I got to school...about 300 miles, I'd say the ratio is about 3:1 with it being 89+ to pre 89's that I've seen. Heh, maybe I'm just not looking for the pre 89's or something...which is sad cause I have one...
