what brand would you recommended going with and why. I cannot find any thing searching so i am asking. i have not found a legit store that shows pics of one in.

Ya. Struts like on hondas are the upper load point so it pushes in on the body hence why they make a difference. Our cars have upper ball joint and the shock is just there so smooth out the ride.

The 35$ one on ebay will do the same job as the expensive name brand one.

I wanted to install them on my car, but the thought of braking the interior stopped me.

They also make it a pain to put long objects into your interior, although the cage doesn't help in that respect either. :p

Ebay has the cheapest ones. They all will do the same job. Can also look for used ones in the classifieds. FOr the front a rear trd mk4 one can be used.

Hmm, its odd that most people here don't seem to feel the difference, in the UK they are pretty much considered a must have mod :S you get loads of threads on people who've just installed one commenting on how much better the handling is...

I think its more of i "think" it made a difference. Had one. Nut fell off, removed the bar, forgot i removed it. Never even knew till i opened the hood like 2 months later.
