well heading back from a local meet I ran the reaper in his freshly swapped 1j car with my 87 dd.. I have full exhaust and a filter.. running like 8-9 psi..
the reaper has a stock 1jz, with a filter, open stock dp running 11 psi..
we both start from a 3rd gear roll at like 50.. we go.. he slowly creeps on me till about a car at the top on 3rd i shift then shortly after he does as well ~ a car & a 1/2 out front.. we shut down when he has ~ 2 cars on me..
so we do it again from like 45 this time both in 2nd.. we go he pulls a car in 2nd we both shift and he keeps pulling.. at ~ 2 cars i just let up.. lol..
lol so hes short shifting like a mofugga (i'm shifting at like 5700 so hes shifting like 5800-6000) and still pulling.. his tach doesn't work (not sure why its wired correctly in the dash wiring, might be the tach) so was shift when i was which isn't even at peak power on the 1j, lol..
this week we'll get his exhaust done and tune it to like 14-16 psi.. should ride out then..
