I just picked my car up with a 2jz swap. My mechanic says he thinks the twins are bad. When I drive the car it feels slow as shit really struggling to get to 75mph. Feels as slow as a nonturbo 7m if not slower. Does this sound right for the 2jz to be running like that? My mechanical says this happened when he went 2jz also but was way better single turboed.

no its not normal. My 1JZ ran like that on the way home after my swap cause the intercooler was not holding boost and I didnt have a boost guage. The 1J intercooler got semi crushed on the pallet when I shipped from LA to Kuwait.
I put the 7M intercooler and jury rigged some piping together just to get it to boost and I was thrown back in my seat by the difference. You prolly don't have boost going to the intake so check all your hoses and pipes. When throttling up the intake hose should pressurize at the throttle body.

What's limp mode? The vacuum lines and piping was checked and nothing can be found. I'm gonna see if a single turbo setup runs better, but this is pretty lame. It's just obnoxiously slow and I don't think running it is a good idea so I'm probably going to have someone look it over again.

im thinking its bad twins cause my mechanic has checked the IC and vacuum lines, my car really pushes itself to get to normal drivings speeds to where im overheating so im not driving it til i get some electric fans in from and back of the radiator to push and pull. i just dont think if the turbos are blown it would be running that slow. ill have things rechecked. if i cant find anything super obvious im gonna pull the engine out of my mkiii. rebuild and go single. maybe get a better radiator. if anyone else has some input shoot them to me
