I need a TEMP fix for a blown mishi rad and may have an MKII rad available to me, just not sure if it fits right. I've already searched for replacement core sizes and they are very very similar in size however i'm not sure if the mounting points on the bottom/top will work. Anyone try this before?

When I picked up my 86.5 the previous owner had a MKII radiator in it, it worked fine, the two top mounts worked, but the bottom didn't have one of the two rubber isolators, and since the rad cap is on a elbow, it would hit the insulation on the hood. It ended up tearing the insulation slightly, but it did fit.

Good luck!

How did the top mounts work?

The Mk3 rad mounts are horizontal...

The Mk2 rad mounts are vertical...
