MK4 Injectors in an MK3?

My brother has an MK4 he's swapping out his fuel system from. I know the fuel pump will work well in the MK3 with the Lexus MAF, but are the MK4 injectors usable? I couldn't find any answers in search or google.

2jzgte uses sidefeed injectors. 7mgte uses top feed so no, they wont work.

I was all ready to ask if this was all about the "I got MKIV injectors, man", but you already have the pump, so I guess that's out.

Anyway, I love it when info on something I know enough about to actually have a thought, and that that is validated by those who know.
