Well I was on my way home from a job interview, cruising on 5th gear, on beautiful express way 83 here in mcallen, texas when i hear this truck reving the engine. Broooom brooom So i was like who the fu@k when i look to my left and there he was cocky late 20 year old on his blue 07 SS single cab truck on 22's and it sounded like he had an after market exhaust and intake. I was thinking to my self i might have a chance so he dowshifts so do i. Now im in 4th gear and we are just slowing down more when dowshifted to 3rd rpms jumps to 4000 and he guns it so did I. He pulls a car and then my beutiful high speed low drag upgradded ct/60-1 kick in and by the end of third i was about 2 cars in front. By the end of 4th he was trying really hard to keep up about 8or 9 cars behind so i shut off. So im thinking he learned his lesson about couple miles ahead i hear THE Broooom Brooom again.
So i downshift from 5th to 4th but he is slowing down too damn much to be in 4th. So downshift to 3rd rpms go to about 3800 when he floors it and i let him get about a car or 2 before i floored it, by the end of third i as on his @ss. Shifted to 4th and it was over i started pulling hard by the end of it he was a good 6 to 7 cars behind and trying to catch up but like i said he just tried:evil2: . Like a good sport he drives up to the so i give him a thumbs up but he points to my supra and gives me the thumbs up. That felt great that my 89 supra can hang and kill some of the new cars. Figured i would share my kill story feel free to comment
mods; k&n fipk, 3 in exhaust w/ddp, upgraded ct/60-1, walbro 255, afpr set at 40psi w/vac stock 440s, 2.5 custom hardpipes, stock intercooler, safc 2 untuned, evc4 set at 15psi, spec stage 3 w/11lb flywheel and i believe thats it
