MK3 Supra Vs 2JZ Aristo

I pull into the gas station to grab myself a drink and here is this JDM Aristo filling up at the pumps and its owner eyeing me up. I hop back in the supra and get onto the highway behind the Aristo. I start to catch up to him after a mile or so, then he puts the hammer down. Must be go time. I nail it at about 4k in 4th gear and hold er' wide. By about 6500k in 4th I had chased him down, shift to 5th and I go for the pass. Score one for the MK3! We get stopped at a red light a ways down and throw each other a wave before I turn left off the highway...

Later I find out this Aristo is equipped with a 2JZ-GTE :aigo:. Win for the 7M-GTE ! (explains why I had to push so hard lol)

some came with the 1UZ-FE in 1st gen trim, an engine we didn't get in the GS until 1998...

A couple weeks after pulling this aritso, I put on the 57 trim. Then took down a R32 GTR skyline with an RB26DETT at 14 psi. It was even closer on that time as I just over took him by the top of 3rd gear. Supras work good for being almost a classic
