Im going to try and make a linkage to hook a stock auto shifter to the th350, if not i have a b&m shifter. The oil pan hangs down about 3/4" more than the factory cross member.

I do not see a plate between the carb and the manifold, I am slightly upset.
My friend is using a similar motor setup in his s10, only with lower compression and a 6-71

When IJ. drops a SBC (albeit a LSx) into his car everyone goes OOOoooo AAAaahhhh. When someone drops a carbed SBC into their car everyone looks down upon it.

To the OP, I am glad you will be able to fit the carb and air cleaner under the hood, I hate it when I see holes cut in the hood to clearance everything. What is the goal of this car?

That was my goal, i wanted to be able to close the hood, another guy in town has an rx7 with an ls1 with a 14" filter sticking out of the hood. It looks stupid. Its gonna be mainly a drag car with some street use. The motor puts out around 550 without spray.

One of the first supras I rode in was red 89 with a 350 and an auto with a shift kit. Was pretty fun. iirc a 350 and 7m are pretty close in weight.

Bit of an unfair comparison to make.....

People don't ohhh and ahh at mine because it's mine, it;s more the level I build to and that I have a large budget to do it with, Poo DID disagree with the concept when I started doing the LS conversion.
