mk3 body with 1j bell housing

i am curious to no if i do a mk3 2j swap, can i use the stock 2j gear box with a 1j bell housing....or do i just use the r154

The 7m bell housing for r154 will not mate too a 2j....you'll need a 1j r154 bell housing too swap with the 7m in order too bolt to a 2j...aswell as a 1j flywheel I believe.
