I think I used the Ginetta G4 (amazingly fun car to drive). I'm pretty sure I used some car I won, and didn't buy a special one just for that...
Has anyone got 100% in that game? I'm at 59.5%. 1,774 miles of A-spec driving for 10,446 points. I have 37 gold medals in license tests, 43 silver medals, no bronze.

Traction control actually slows you down. If you can handle the game w/o it, you can be faster than w/ it. It's a crutch. But I still use it.
Think of it like this though, it's a passive system. That means it doesn't activate until it see's that you need it. So, if you are good enough w/o it on, it won't make a difference with it on, because you should not get to the point where it activates. That is IF you are as bad ass as you think you are.

Ok here are the rules I'm thinkin for tsukuba circuit.
-Must be an A70. (JZ or M)
-any mods you wish. tires, weight reduction, etc. don't care.
-NO nitrous
-TCS and ASM are legal
-A screenshot with your fast lap would be nice. use a camera phone or digicam or whatever. If not, I don't think anyone here cares enough to cheat so honor system should suffice.
That's mostly it. I don't wanna limit mods too much other than nitrous and the car itself just to see who can get the farthest with the A70.
No real time limit on entries. We'll just keep the thread running as long as people are posting new fast laps. How's that sound. When I'm done browsing the forum, I'm gonna make another thread for us to post lap times and then go make some fast laps myself. :]
If there's any questions on anything that I missed in the rules that might be questioned, let me know so we can clearify
