Ok so put some of my black int in.It still dosent look great sinces it's not done but I'm going to wait till I have money for the carpet, black shift boot, and black steering wheel to finish everything.

I am going to be installing my new belts in this weekend or next week if it's not cold or raining maybe I'll even do them today if I find any time.

Thing I still need to get befor I hit the road TIP tie rod spacers, and hard pipe from 3000,to my other hard pipe but I think I'm going to hold off on both of these things for alil bit because I'm going to be buying a master cylinder brace since I'm doing my ss brake lines and I could only by one of them now since they don't realy make them for my car.

So how do you guys think my cars coming along so far??

p.s.dose anybody have any hard pipes laying around I'm not looking for a kit I'm just looking for the elbow from the 3000 pipe to the other pipe.I also need 2 cuplings.Let me know if you have anything laying around

Ok so I want to go wingless real bad but I don't have a welder and don't know how to weld.I'm noting going to use bondo unless it's to smooth somthing out but not till fill in big holes.

So what I want to know is what would it take for me to go wingless?I know most supra owners don't go wingless or they add wings on there car.So I want to know dose anybody have any right ups on how I could do it myself or dose anybody have a wingless hatch that they would like to trade for my hatch witch has a pre 89 wing and it's re painted.

Also I want to remove the rear whiper and whiper motor so I want to fill that even bigger hold in.

If you decide to keep the your hatch, find a welder to weld some small sheets of metal between the holes you would like filled. After the welding is done smooth over the holes with Bondo. Otherwise just bondo''ing'' will cause cracking .

Goodluck,

Matt-

bondo will last quite a while if you take a screwdriver (standard) and punch in the hole, to make it kinda look like someone shot a hole in it.

This way applying bondo, it has alot more surface area to stick to.

I hate bondo unless it's needed.

well guys I have no real updates but I did get that new hard pipe from the 3000 pipe to my fender I just need to have somone weld my bov flange on it for me.(anyone here want to do it for me??)But other than that I havent done anything new.

but I have some great news.My cars out!! and I love it!! it rides great and I fell in love with supras and my car all over again.the only thing is I need a wheel alinment, and balance my tires because the car is a shakey at 65+.I also need to have my ss brake lines installed witch I will have all of these done by this week.

Now for the bad.I HAVE A GAS LEAK!!!:aigo:It's not pooring out but it's a good out coming out and I never saw it leak for the year I had it until the day I got it out and put in 45$ worth of gas.Now it looks like it's coming from the front of my gas can(sorry I couldnt get a good look from the night time and than the next day it raind)So it looks like it's coming from the front passenger side of of my gass can.The car was sitting for about a year but started almost everyday and drivin around the block every now and than.I put some rags beetween the one plastic piece and the gas tank.It did help out a lot(my grandpa use to do the old rag trick and even tho it dosent fix it it helps a lot more than you would think)so what I'm asking even tho I havt seen anybody have this problem on there supras is this a problem that happends to a good amount of people? and do you think it'my tank or a gas line? or somthing esle?

I need to know a.s.a.p. because I'm trying to fix it by this week so I'm going to look into it more and give you guys more info so we could all get a better idea were it is comin from.

Get under there and look

Also..

Your supra doesn't have a carb and that shimmed hood isn't helping you at all

yea I wanted to get a better look today but it was raining all day.I think it is the tank tho because the lines are up front more. But I need to look into it more.

also I how it dosnt have a carb and whats it not helping??I like the how it looks.Thats why I did it.also I have seen a lot of cars with tilted hoods thats don't have carbs.

It makes it look like your car was in an accident and air enters the opening as the speed increases. You don't want air to enter the rear of the engine bay, hence why there is originally a seal there. Most people shim the hood to let heat out of the engine bay, but that mod is a myth and it does not help our supras.

Well I havent updated this threa for awhile the truth is onces I got my license I just really started enjoying the car and than with the rest of my time I work.Well heres a small simple update for you guys.I'll try and get you guys some nicer pics once I get a digi cam.

Well this is my new shift knob. It's a pivot 30mm adjustable hight and it's very rare for our cars:naughty:I love how it looks and feels. It's at arm level when the hight is 80% up.

I also plan on getting 8mm wheel spacers to widin my car out a bit.The only thing I want to ask you guys is what tires do you think I should go with?right now I have 245's in the rear and 225's up front.I was thinking of getting 245's in the rear when i get new tires and 235's up front. You guys think thats sounds good?let me get some input?I'm looking for the best handling set up.

hey man, i got my car back on the road again, we should meet up

ur still on stock width wheels right? stick to 225/50/16 cuz with 245s itll bubble and create more sidewall and itll flex more on the turns. but if u drag the extra sidewall will be helpful iirc.

falken azenis sport tires are the stickest tires for their price imo but they dont last too long

i also had a set of BFG Geforce tires on my old 17s and those things were pretty good too.
