Don't break the law, don't resist, listen to them, don't talk back, pull over right away.

Two seperate occasions? You need to pull your head out of your ass and wake up. You put yourself in the position to get a beat down whether it's because of your friends, what you were doing or how you acted towards the cop. Sounds like you got what you deserved :dunno: otherwise you'd be a rich man now, yes?

My thoughts exactly! I have never had any trouble with cops I've been pulled over quite a few times and have only got one ticket which was not my fault. Just respect the fact that they deal with ass holes everyday! What do you think, everyone they pull over is nice? Hell no! They get people that think they are above the law all day long. Not saying they have the right be an ass hole but just think about what's going through their mind when they are pulling you over. I always shut my car off, and put my keys on the dash and wait. Then ask If I can get out my I.D out etc.

Whoa...Hold on now. I meant no disrespect to anyone. Believe it or not it upsets me to read your post and I really have no clue where your coming from. I have no respect for police that think they are above the law, its not a grudge i just don't like them from experiences that i thought would be justifiable to share with everyone. Sorry for pissing you off, but saying those "3" separate occasions were my fault is pretty one-sided and ignorant. I'll share a little something with you.... the shoulder was from swearing in school and trying to rightfully walk home under suspention, the gash was from being tackled... mistaken for someone else and the rib was from being slammed into a cruiser for walking out of a hospital. OK, so now re read what you just wrote! You were swearing in class... So you were disturbing the class, along with holding up other students from learning... Not sure what your point is here? Then you ditched school? Or did they say you could leave? It's the law that you go to school lintel school gets out (at least in public schools)! You have to realize it was your actions that got you in trouble no won else!That does suck that they mistakenly thought you were someone else. That's kinda UN called for... Did they pay for you to go to the hospital?

both these two are dumb. kid obviously made the mistake of shooting the cop and the cop made the mistake of thinking he is above the law. but, it shows that they are human and both of them let there emotions get in the way of solving this problem the correct way.
