MK IV NA MAF on MKIII TURBO?

my buddy is currently doing a GTE swap on his wifes MKIV, so, there just getting rid of the 2jzGE, and was noticing the MAF on it. Now all i did was look at it, and noticed that it had the same connector style as the MKIII one, and it seems to be about the same size.

if anyone has anymore technical advice on this.
tryed searching on it, but ended with a bunch of BS, maybe i did the wrong searches.

For what purpose? Because it is 2JZ part? It isn't a MAF, it is a volume airflow meter.

Can't the 2jzge run on 7m wiring and ecu? But I'm sure someone has tried using it on a 7m before and it didn't work well because you don't hear much about it, only Lexus afms

well, i do know that the Pre 96s did have a karmen vortex sensor, cause i have it right in my hand, but, will it work on 7mgte? i even called my buddy who dose work for toyota, and he even told me that the pre96s came with these, and the post96s (OBDII) came with a hot wire maf.
