i've run one for years, i'd say its got more power to it than a upgraded CT and better reliability. at 20psi the car hauls some serious ass but for the most part i've been running 15psi.
Duanes #'s were no BS. he tried to get as much power out of the 20G as possible and did quite well. it has potential but if i were to buy a turbo for the same sort of goals now.. i would probably choose something different.
i wanted the td06 for yrs before i finally got one. i must admit i do miss the way the car felt w/it on there. this thread is making it harder to choose. my b/f keeps asking me about my td06 and reminding me if i do decide to go w/something else that he is more than willing to take it off my hands. i've had a couple offers to buy it. if i do put it back on the car it won't be for awhile and until then it will stay in the box wrapped up. decisions decisions...
i still remember the first night after having put the turbo on...i was only boosting about 12 psi on the td06 but holy hell. my dad called and was talking to my b/f while i was driving. my b/f told my dad about the td06 that went on the car. my dad asked why i swapped turbos. we both then informed him of the difference in power between the stock ct26 and the td06...he seemed to understand and got all excited about it. lol
