missing when on gas pedal

She idles fine till i step on the gas then she studers.When i let off the pedal by a half inch she drives fine.I'm thinking that i might need to replace the spark plugs or recheck the a.f.m wires since i'm getting a code 12.I have the SUPRA BIBLE,t.s.r.m i just did'nt feel like walking out into the freezing cold to do so.Thought i would be thoughtfull and increase some of yas points.last could a low oil level progress this inconvience aswell?:: alky ::

You have an auto correct? Check your fluid in tranny, and has this been happening recent or has it been going on for a while? Check timing, and make sure to check the spark plugs...the spark plug holes might have filled up with oil from leaking valve covers, or your plugs could be fowled OR they could have incorrect gap...most people put them in from Auto stores without gapping them and this could cause the problem.

and oil shouldn't cause this problem, but i would definitely add oil or have change done.

This did start happening recently when i drove down the beltway and was flooring it do to this guy in his dam 94 neon thought he could blow me away.I tried to resist but he kept taunting me,so i had to prove a point and yes i WHIPED his posterior.After that i noticed the studer.i'm leaning towards the sparkplugs or valve covers.

I've seen mine do that before. Check your wires and make sure they aren't laying on your manifold and melted a wire.....don't ask me how I know.....I had a plug wire arcing on the manifold heat shield after a "spirited" drive. You should check plugs, wires, oil in center valley (as previously stated) and also distributor itself inside the cap for oil...maybe even chekc your TPS for adjustment....look for the obvious. GL

unfortunitly it's doing the same thing which consist of missing sound when idling.Then when i step on the gas theirs a bad miss.I changed the sparkplugs and oil and it's the same outcome.But what is weird is that the longer i drive her around town lets say for a half hour the miss is'nt that bad.I did get rid of the code 12,and their is some backfire when i stomp on the gas pedal and a horrible miss.

I would lean toward plug wires. Would be curious what a compression check would show, though. Not going toward bhg, but maybe some carbon got hung up in a valve.

I would really check the wires, first. Especially if you haven't changed them.

well i think i figured out what the problem was.I'm gona lean towards a blown headgasket do to i was driving to work when i noticed the temp needle went past the h:wtc:.so i pulled over and let her cool down for a bit and open the overflo lid and noticed it was full of antifreeze,which 99.5 percent if that result of from a ::bhg::before this happened my overflo was empty and know it's full.

wtf man.we have the same exact problem and we got it the Same exact way.

i was just chillin with my friends at a pollo tropical and his friend called him a we went to a party after the party we rode out to a friends house with like 3 civics and an integra.
we rolled out to us 27 and were cruising and i was watching the hondas run one after eachother.then once they found the fastest two. they raced the black civic beat the integra by 2 cars next they came up to me and screamed second gear out his window....

i down shifted to second we ran i moped him by 8 .black tegra beat by 2.up last the fastest civic in the crew from a dig i spin tires for like 4 seconds he gets a half car lead as soon as i grab traction i start pullin on him by a half car then the sound.....

the terrible sound.as soon as i hit third at around 3 grand this spitting sputtering sounds almost like spitting flames.after i let off the gas and he thinks he won.after that we drove home on the hw like a 1 hour ride.everything sounds fine but it slightly sounds like im cammed.as long as i cruise in 5th everything is finde but when i open up the throttle the engine sounds like its spitting/stuttering.

now i was driving today and it sounds like im cammed in 1st and 2nd gear .after im in third 4th or 5th any time i go past 25-4000 rpm the sound comes back.
