i have a bit of an odd problem.when the car is cold, i start it and go where i need to go, and stop it. 5-10 minutes after, i restart it and it's mising on the first cylinder. It had 2 month old msd wiring and i could see the spark jumping to ground. so i changed the wiring on the guarentee. the plugs are new from the begining of summer. i swapped coil packs as well to see if there would be change but none!only remedy is to let it cool down an hour or so. any suggestions? i think i'm gonna change that 1 spark plug.

no error codes, msd super conductors(i believe are 8.5 or 9mm) with oem ngk sparkplugs. no coolant loss, i check my oil and coolant regularly, since it still has a composite hg, but was torqued properly with new bolts. i must say i do run at 12psi. would the plug gap be a factor here?full 3''exhaust with testpipe.

what i did to determine this is,engine obviously doesn't sound the same, i pull the #1 plug wire and it still bogs the same.
meaning the#1 cylinder misses. plus the plug is very wet when i remove it!

also when i remove the plug wire , i place near a ground and it sparks strong.
any one have any problem with the ngk spark plug# in the owners manual?

Personally I'd suspect the MSD wiring. I've never been impressed with MSD product quality. The NGK plugs suggested in the owners manual should be fine. What gap are you running?

Verify that that spark valley is completely clean. If there is any oil/ water in there, the plug wire will ground/ spark to the cylinder head, instead of the spark plug. HTH
