Fwiw, my mishimoto fit nearly perfectly. Shroud, height, depth were all spot on.
My only complaint was that the inlet and outlet were 2mm too small in diameter and I had to use extra worm gear clamps because the Toyota tension clamps don't grab enough.
Iwantmk3, do you have a CAD program? Id be happy to draw mine up in solidworks and compare how our are different. My cars a 90 na chassis and it fits like a glove.

I do not anymore, computer crashed about a month ago. Though now that you mention it, I do recall the stock springs not fitting on older versions, but I had no problem with the lower spring clip. The upper I already had replaced with a worm gear for other reasons.
At this point, people need to be made full aware of the issue with mishimoto. If that hurts their business, that's their fault. I've offered my time, suggestions, consultations, and to take my car down and use it as a test vehicle so long as I was able to oversee EVERYTHING. I was denied in most of these offers and its their own damn fault.

You can thank IJ for that... I have one, and for all the trouble the OP has went through, he probably could have picked up a PWR, used the stock fan and shroud, and not had to deal with all these headaches. Sorry to put it that way, I never like seeing someone go through this much trouble over something that should have been designed properly in the first place. Would be worth mentioning to Mishimoto all the crap you've been through on behalf of a sub-par product that they make.
I'll not likely ever buy anything of theirs again, after the disappointment I've experienced with their e-fan shroud, but it was a timing thing on my part, entirely my own fault for being impatient. This radiator thing doesn't represent their company well at all...
I see your point Te, and I agree, but at this point I'm just determined to get it right. I don't want other people to run into this. Add in the fact I don't have money to throw around on yet another radiator, I get replacements for free in the mean time until they get it right.
