lmao @ "I was like, you're dumb." ahahahaha nice.

hehehe. kid was speechless when he got beat. he is some old-skool redneck kid that just cause you have 4.6L of displacement, he thinks he's got it made on my 2.5L. you guys should have seen his face, he was laughing because he pulled on me by a car. turbo kicked in, i looked over and his face went from a happy smile to a kind of sadness. it was the funniest look i have ever seen. then he gave me the excuse that he mis-shifted, but god damn...that v8 is loud and he didnt mis-shift it was spot on. so we go again, and beat him by a bus again. literally....a bus.

i doubt its the exposed wire but anything is possible.

I just rewired them and it corrected the problem. Seems that one of them (three total) was arcing above 3700rpm.

Congrats Spaniard, didn't mean to jack your thread, our problems seemed similar.

Cool. I just took the car out & pounded it pretty hard. The miss is still there, only not as severe. I'm going to close the gap from .27 to about .24 and see if that fixes it.

I wrapped mine in high temp electrical tape from 3M, same shit that the audio guys use at circuit city. great shit. no arcing. try it.

I've sleeved mine with some really thick heat shrink, but I will give it a shot.
