Perhaps you should bring the car to somebody. What city are you in?
I am in Hampton Roads, VA. I have guys locally, but they don't have any free time. I paid Soundslikesemi to install the walbro yesterday while I watched and worked on getting everything else ready. He also helped me get my timing dead on. I may ask him for a hand, but convincing him may require $$$ lol Not that I blame him.

There's a boat load of people here that should bring their cars to somebody but they don't. Just look at the daily postings of pure dumb. Not inexperienced, not unfamiliar with cars, but a total lack of common sense or out right stupidity. I ignore most of them but this guy seems helpable. Course, I could be wrong. It sure wouldn't be the first time...
I do not trust most people when it comes to working on my vehicles, so everything I know and do I have learned without taking any classes. Same way with my computer skills, and I work in IT.
I may make silly mistakes sometimes, but so far I have done pretty well and usually catch myself. lol There is much advice I have taken and learned from the guys on here who know more than me, ie: oil pump shimming, oil cooling systems, doing the head and block at the same time instead of half-assing it. I appreciate the help, and trust me, it keeps adding to what I know instead of going out the other ear.
Electrical troubleshooting is not exactly my forte, but I am trying. :hs: lol
