I don't mean to open up any old wounds, and if this thread bothers anyone in any way, mods please delete.

I'm newer here, but from searching around it seemed like Mr. Urbano was a Mk III god. Can anyone fill me in on his projects, or what happened to him?

Again, if this thread makes anyone uneasy, please delete it.

Mike U. was the first to put a 1JZ into an MKIII in the U.S. He got the first 1JZ-GTE to touch U.S. soil. He did amazing work to Supras. In fact, some of his work, including his personal 1JZ-GTE MKIII, is still floating around here in SoCal.

As for his tragic death, he was sitting at a stop light on his motorcycle when a vehicle plowed into him from behind at a high rate of speed.

And yes, Mike U. was an MKIII god. His brother Brian still posts regularly as SirLoki.

He died in a motorcycle accident awhile back....

Anyway, you could get a better story from the people who knew him in person like SupraNick.

**EDIT GOT BEAT TO IT**

Supranikoli's car was Mikes last project afaik.... Take a look at it some time.

I actually believe his black 2j car was his last project. Nick's is close too, I think they were working on both at the same time.

Mike U's blue car has been an insperation to me since before I had a Supra. Someday my car will be on the same level as was/is at.
