I picked one up really cheap a few years ago, and had it for a few years. (Is not a bad family hauler, and when it ran right, my wife sort of liked it...the space that is.)
So, here is what to keep in mind.
We did not call it the Gutless Cruiser for nothing. (The 2.8 V6 is a dog.)
The steering rack failed, but was only 75.00 to replace it with a rebuilt unit. (Cured a problem where the steering wheel would wobble from side to side, and nothing else would fix it. (The rack housing on these units wear out, and the valve that sends pressure to each side of the rack does just that, sends to the right, then left then right and so on, so your steering wheel just wobbles back and forth as you drive down the road.... Very annoying.)
Parts are cheap.
Buy a K&N filter, and a 4" hole saw. Modify the stock intake filter box so the small snorkle is removed, and it improves sound, it not actual performance...
Good luck. I was very happy when I sold it.
