Ok my Headgasket is not blown but i want to fix the problem befor anything happends because I am moding the car.So i wanted to know is this worth it or should I just get the 20mm Headgasket and get the block and the head decked.heres the link http://www.titanmotorsports.com/timo1betyhew.html

I used one way back and it was identical to a Cometic (guessing rebadged)

I believe it is a cometic... I have one in my car, and have used Cometic in the past... Luis at Paradise Racing is using a cometic in his drag car, and pushes over 40 pounds of boost across it...

according to titan themselves, titan contracts cometic to make all of there head gaskets so basically they are the same gasket. as for thickness- 1.4mm would be fine for mild boost or stock bottom end. for heavy mods or a built engine, u can't beat a 2.0mm. according to stillen a 2.0mm would lower compression down to about 7.8:1 on a stock 7m- which means more boost can be safely ran. ive personally used both (i swear by tms head gaskets), just a matter of how much power you are planning to make. but u should definitely get the head checked while its off.
