OK
do the meth kits have a window switch like the nitrous kits where the meth will spray only when floored?

The progressive kits use a boost sensor, and it activates when you hit X psi.

7. How difficult is the installation?
6x nozzles mean removing the intake to drill and tap the runners so a bit of a PITA, single nozzle system = cake.

Just because you brought it up, what are your thoughts on a single nozzle system?

I firmly believe that on a multi-port fuel injected motor you should never use a single meth injection point. I believe that it's very dangerous to assume that a wet charge will be evenly distributed within a manifold designed for a dry charge.

IMO, 1 injector per runner, or nothing at all.

J: Not yet still waiting on some nozzles from Summit then I will.

The setup I ran on my Z car was a 20Litre partition in the main tank feeding a 5 litre engine bay mounted tank with an automatic level switch to keep it full.

I used an Edelbrock Varajection controller and was spraying into the Turbo inlets just in front of the Carbs, no IC at all and was running 30 Psi on pump fuel with a 6.5:1 compression ratio.

Wow!! 30psi is insane, but I guess with 6.5:1 compression it's alright. I'll wait for you to post info in your buildup thread after you work out all of the bugs...........:evil2:

Took me 5 head gaskets to get it right ;)
(found out later one corner of the o-ringed block was 10 thou low and the muppet that cut the o-ring grooves didn't bother to deck it first)

Evil that kit DUI version seems practical and easy enough but to finicky to trust your motor with.

Rob you make a good point about uneven distribution.
I no that there are a few high hp cars running them so it obviosly works, but it could leave the #6 cylinder dry. How thick/thin of a mist does the nozzle spray? will the mist settle in the first runner and lean out as it heads to the #6 cyl.

I.J. you actually broght up another question of myn talking about no IC.
I had a massive 24X12X4 ic for my t-78 which was major overkill. Now i run a t-61 so i was thinking about a 24X12X3 ic. With meth will a 24X9X3 ic be sufficient for 500+hp?

hey,

I am the ebay store that was linked on the first page, figured I would stop in and try to help answer any questions you guys may have regarding meth injection and your supras...I run it on all my boosted cars besides my 04 svt cobra (full bolt ons, ported blower, etc...runs 11.0s @127 on pump) and while I had an 05 evo8 I was running meth, nitromethane and a 100 shot of nitrous on top of all the basic bolt ons...

Dan

edit: added some pics but if anyone wants me to remove them I can...

When you say bolt-ons...how far in to the bolt-ons have you gone?

Who did your port job?

Good looking car...I have a lot of guys in my club with similar cars.

2.93 4lb lower + idllers...intake, midpipe, catback exhaust (bisani), tune, BAP, new tb and plenum, steggy port job and a 150 wet shot of nitrous (but haven't gone down the track with that yet) along with a set of mt et streets on the back in 26x11 on some mustang GT wheels...I think thats the basics of the mods, cars has a ton of mods but those are the only power adders besides cooling mods...
