"Blue Magic"...get it at most auto parts stores.
That's what I use to put the final shine on the ceramic chrome parts I do ;)

what about for aluminum rims? mine are in desperate need of a shine, they're dull and have spots of...oxidation?

if anyone knows some really good stuff that will restore neglected aluminum, let me know. polishing from an already clean/relatively reflective surface is one thing...this is another.

JUST FLITZ IT!!! if you can get the Flitz ball that works good or put some elbow grease into it w/ a rag ;) (a mirco-fiber rag is best).

mothers mag and aluminum polish works great on anything i usually encounter. as for heavy stuff, i usually have to buff it out with some compound.
