So, driving spiritedly today, I was jumping onto the highway, and somehow, I managed to screw up the 3->4 shift and went from 3->2
The engine easily hit ~7.5k on the tach before I had a chance to clutch in. However, it didn't sit there, I caught it pretty fast.
Scared the living crap out of me, but, nothing happened, and it *seems* to be running okay so far.
What would be my best course of action to be make sure this thing's okay?
Car is totally stock, rebuilt not too long ago, but mostly stock.
I've got so far:
compression check
pull off valve covers to take a peek at all of that
Anything else I should do?
Appreciate any tips
