So after a meet, and some go-carting with a couple other members, I found a white R32 turning onto the on ramp just infront of me. After merging i used the HOV lane (me and my girl so HOV is ok) to catch up.
I get beside him, then due to the small amount of traffic, i get ahead of him. I pull back to the left lane, infront of him. He pulls out to the right lane and hes pulling something feirce. So i dump it into 3rd and booted it. He got his fender up to my door as i was about ready for 4th gear. I hit 4th and pull about a car and a half on him. Topped out 4th at 180km/h (110 mph) and decided that with the long turn onto a bridge, i didnt need to keep going through 5th.
5 mins down the road, we are kinda toying back and forth, exchange thumbs up and countinue on the way home, crusing together. 10 mins later we see that we have open road for as far as we can see. Not really racing we both boot it. At speeds of 230km/h, i dont really feel the need to try and pass a guy going just as fast as me. But we cruised together, going much faster, until i came up to my exit.
He took the same exit as me, so i pulled over once i was off the highway and we had a little chat. We checked out each others cars, bs'd a little, and our girls made girl talk.
He was running a HKS turbo, that came with the car and he wasnt exactly sure what size it was. Running at 1.3 bar, had a big fatty greddy intercooler, 2.5" IC pipes(painted white to match the car, looked awsome) walbro 255, 3" cat back, and much more but i didnt notice details. Pretty cool car overall, and he was a real nice guy too. I had a shit load of fun. Good timing too, car comes off the road for winter tommorow afternoon.
