Do you really? Hell, I've got 3 CT26s here (2 good, 1 not so good, lol)

What kind of credit could I get for giving you 2 good ones (no bent anythings, work good, boost good, no seal leaks, etc) for one that is hard(er) to spin, that I would like to get a stock rebuild + 57trim upgrade?

That's why I'm selling these 2 CT-26s :D Trying to get the $$ together to send in this third one for a 57 trim upgrade!

One per upgrade as a core credit? You mean if I send you my actual CT-26, I still get charged a $125 core credit?

Or if I send you a 2nd CT-26, I get $125 off?

LOL, I gotcha.

So sending you in 2 extra CT26s, for a total of 3 (one to be rebuilt, and two extras for you to keep) wouldn't net me any kind of credit toward the one being rebuilt?

ask your self this, if those extra CT26's that you want to trade in are worth very little to you, how much do you think they are worth to MDC?

no one wants to take your garbage in lieu of cash payment.

Yeah...Trust ME, Jon (MDC) has PLENTY of CT's chillin' in the shop. Like 94,000,002 of them. :p.

And whether you try to talk us into knocking some money off for a rebuild or not, you MUST have us rebuild and upgrade. Jon is, without a doubt, DA MAN for the job. ;)

No, Seriously. :eek3:

wtf.. where do you come off calling 2 perfectly good turbos garbage?

Yeah, total garbage for the guys that don't want to pay $500+ just to get their car on the road. Bit high and mighty there, don't you think? :3d_frown:

Jon mentioned in another thread that he took turbos in as credit toward new ones. He didn't specify which turbos he took, so I started this thread to discuss the idea of consolidating 3 turbos down to one, and maybe pick up an upgrade for a little less than the usual price.

I, for one, don't want your garbage in my thread. Completely off-base on that one, man. :nono:

I've sold both turbos, made $375 out of them, and now I'm working on getting the rest of the money together to send in this bad one to be re-done. When it gets back, I'll sell the one currently on the car, to make up most of the rest of the expense.

If ending up with a 57 trim for under $100 net seems like a bad idea, then I don't know what a good idea is.

*edit* eh... maybe I was a bit harsh. I just really took that the wrong way, lagged.

shhhhhhhhhh hush up with that. just sell your other turbos and use that money for the rebuild. its exactly what i would (am, actually..) do (doing) . youll get more money selling the turbos alone than you would if you were to turn them in for a core.

and hate to break it to you buddy, but this isnt YOUR thread. these forums allow any MEMBER (such as my self) to make any on topic comment that they (I) wish.

what you see as garbage, someone else might find useful.
