If you create a ground loop, yes. (i.e. ground a sensor on both ends of it's wire...like the knock sensor)

i was gonna do some regrounding and looked at a couple kits. they looked real weak with 8g from the battery and 8g to the ground points.
my battery is in the back and im gonna ground it to the frame and do 4g from the head to firewall, block to frame, etc...
the idiots that relocated it dont even have a fuse or circuit breaker on it.....
