Oh well I'll be there then, by the way MDC I'm no kid. I work 50+ hours a week and go to college, I deserve a little fun and trouble and you'll never see a dime from me again. Well it's been great here I have picked up alot of information and knowledge of the 7m here. Most of the members here have been very helpful and given me great tech tips and guidance for my mk3. As for the rest of you who are negative and unsupporting. I was just trying to share my experience with you guys. It's all cool though, no worries, no hard feelings here, their are other places to go for advice etc. Like I said as for those that have been of great help and guidance thanks again, especially the moderators here, you guys are the shit and you know your 7m's. GL to all and I'll see some of you at the meet.

I'm not telling ya to not have a good time. I'm telling you not do burnouts and draw attention to our group. I say this due to the chance that a cop may hear you doing it and sit and watch us from a distance. When I leave and get next to a z06 with some exhaust... I'm going to pull it. Now if the fuzz wasn't looking at us from a distance I wouldn't have a problem.. but since he heard someone doing burnouts, he is.

Why do you think you got pulled over in the first place???? Drawing attention to yoruself. Bottomline.

Low key.. is key..

The supra has an AFM stock.

Maft is an aftermarket piggy back fuel tuning device that can use either a GM mass air flow sensor or a MAP sensor.

I have a stock AFM off my dad's 87 turbo, he's looking to sell it. PM me if interested...probably wants 50-ish for it.

DEFINATELY do this monthly. I'll probably only be able to show up once every other month, but it'd still be BALLS to have a supra meet often!

I'm willin to drive up to 500 miles every other month to attend. Im in Mid-East Missouri, so Indiana isn't TOO far (about 4 hours-ish).

Yeah...I think I could live up to that. :icon_surp I just couldn't imagine it being monthly and me driving over 500+ miles to meet up with an X-supra owner in his Ford Taurus lol.:icon_evil <---You get my point...I think we should do it on the 1st Saturday of every other month.:) Just an idea...but it WOULD be great to have frequent mini-meets. But for the moment, I aint doin' sh*t until I get my stupid car fixed. Thanks a lot tornadoes and flooding.:3d_frown:

Whose Supra is running great, again!?:biglaugh: ME!:icon_razz :naughty:
Sorry, I need to vent because I'm so excited, lol.
I went ahead and tore apart all my accordian pipe to my air filter(below headlight) and went ahead and took out the AFM. I brought it in the house and was getting ready to try to find an AFM for cheap...I decided to look at (aye mate)'s thread about raising fuel cut with the stock AFM...so I decided to go ahead and try it even though I though my AFM was destroyed...I took out the screw and one last try before I was going to end the night and put it on and started it...WA-LAH! No engine codes, idle's perfect...and to top it off...I'm now at 15psi:biglaugh: :biglaugh: :biglaugh:

OOOF...

Just one month after I stopped parking my Supra in a garage, and just as I was about to sink $1400 into bodywork, she got hit by that hailstorm. Pretty bad.

Oh, well... at least it didn't happen after I sunk all the money into bodywork.

I'm not sure where to go from here... it's a 180,000 mile Supra, with several cosmetic defects, that isn't running quite right. I was willing to sink a fair amount of money into restoring it to good condition, but more and more it's looking like the chassis(and unibody) isn't worth sinking the money into.
