blah blah al, I'll do whatever I wish with MY Supra, and If I want to see how well it does a dough nuts (my frist RWD ever) I'll do it, and I don't need yours nor anyone elses permission. First of all you have no idea what this "parking" lot even looks like, nor where it's placed. Oh and If I have a license I'll be at the meet.

Uh, no offense to anyone. But it's his job to be an asshole about it.

If you injured someone who was at the mall shopping I'm sure you AND the mall would probably both be in huge trouble. Sure you were in 100 sq feet of open parkinglot. What if your throttle stuck? What if you blew a tire and for whatever reason you lost control and ended up... I dunno... in the middle of a shop there? So many things could go wrong in an area like that.

IMO, stupid stuff like that shouldn't be done anywhere near an area that MAY be busy. I just hope you learned a lesson from all of this.

But yeah, I think I'm starting on the 89 this week. Gotta get that motor out and rebuilt.

Anyone wanna buy a 87 300Z? $3200 obo. Clean as hell. No Jeff, not the piece that you seen (which comes with it, lol). :icon_bigg
wasn't busy as I explained or atleast thought I did, was an open lot, their were like 12 scion xb's lined up along the end of the lot. Also I was not in the mall parking lot, I was across the street.

blah blah blah doesn't matter: there were still other cars there. Trust me, I love doing donuts and burnouts and what not, but ALWAYS choose a completely empty parking lot with no shops around. :D not hating, just helping.

Obviously you(mkii) wouldn't have been smart enough to either,
A.) put it in neutral
B.) turn the car off
While putting it in neutral would've had your revs at about 10,000, it still would've meant averting hitting someone. Just my $.02--take it or leave it

O.T.--I'll be there 95% sure as long as my motor is back in my car by then. Freshly rebuilt with all of Toyota's advertised 232 ponies :D Maybe a few small goodies by then, but I doubt it.

Agreed. None of us can verify if this parking lot was really "burn-out" safe, but either way, the cop saw him and took action. NOW. Back on topic...

For those who are not on Supraforums, there are going to be a few more Supra's coming from the Dayton, OH area, some other MKIII's and possibly some MKIV's. Yes, MKIII'ers are suppose to be against MKIV's because they take up all the light, but nothing wrong with having them there(even though they will probably ignore us, lol).

Eriol, any updates with MSL? Thanks.:)

OK, here are our dyno options:

A. Rent the place out for the day: $1500
B. Just show up and dyno, $75 for 3 runs.

Also, if enough of us dyno, he said he may cut us a deal.

I don't think option A would be worthwhile unless we either had more than 20 people dynoing, or had a lot of people dynoing who were dyno-tuning and needed more than 3 runs.

Might still be coming. Either in the new car (if finished, I have a lot of parts to put on once it is here.) or in my dad's car if it is done and broken in.

Hint about the new car....
