Well as i just learned the other day, you can max out your lex AFM's. I took special notice to it today knowing i had a persistant acceleration problem still but seemed to be reading ok.

Via SAFCII i monitored it as it climbed past 1350Hz at only 11-12PSI or so. Someone mentioned there's topped out at about 1500Hz. So now what? I'm reaching my limit soon enough on the stock turbo! I wanted to at least go 57trim sometime soon but i guess not. Is there a way to get around this w/o spending 200+ on Maft or MaftPro to replace the AFM, i mean i already have SAFCII as a feul tuning device?

When you max things out you will get fuel cut. Don't worry about the Hz. I have a stock AFM and have seen over 1700Hz at around 11 psi.

Just keep an eye on your AFR.

Can I ask a quick question... and it may seem dumb.

What model Lexus AFM do the 7mgte's take? Or what model car do I need to hunt down in a parking lot?

Basically where do I get a Lexus AFM for the 7mgte???

Appreciate it.

Are you hitting fuel cut or is that just an observation? If the signal maxes out i think it just dumps maximum fuel does it not? It doesn't mean you're stuck at 12 psi.

You need the AFM body, your electronics will drop in.

1990 - 1994(early) LS400
1990 - 1994(early) GS400

22250-50010
22250-50011
22250-50030
22250-50031

Those are the part numbers of the afm's that will work

Im at 20psi on a Lex AFM with almost no tune at all. Somethings wrong if youre hittin fuel cut at 11-12psi. Check for boost leaks.

no boost leaks, happens in all RPM. sparks new, wires new, coils good igniter good, AFM good, only leaves the new RC550 injectors.
