Yes I was speaking to you that much was obvious. You don't have to feel like your authority was being challenged That wasn't the intent of me expressing my response to your response, and besides, as a "Tech Moderator" you should enjoy your job enough to explain things to people and making things understandable for people. I thought the forum was to seek advice and help, not compete in a knowledge race with others.

I started the thread and in my opinion what I was asking for could be answered based on experience not on fact. Plenty of technical information has been derived from facts that were accumulated through experience. I figured there were people on here that had already tuned boost on a stock 7mgte at one point or another in there "Supra Experience". I'm not planning on even uping the boost on my car, I am merely trying to get a feel for boundaries and limits with my car being as how I'm new with it. One thing that I am guilty of though is not searching things all the time before posting threads about them. I will fix this in the future as questions will arise, and I do apologize for not doing that in this instance.

First of all, there's no way you can challenge anything...this is a car forum, you are a guest here, you will abide by the rules, and the site owner has entrusted me to enforce them. It's a simple as that. I do enjoy teaching people about this car, but (as in a previous thread) you have an attitude...that changes the equation. Trying to tell me how to conduct my business and what I "should" do is out of line...in fact, it's insulting. You are entitled to nothing here, from me or anyone else.

Second, all I did was move the thread...I could have just as easily locked or deleted it. You got bent out of shape just because the thread was moved and you "think" it should be in the Tech section. As you can see, the rest of the membership can tell how vague and general this question is...that is why you are taking flack. I have nothing to do with that, but suspected it would be the case since you didn't take the time to search.

I was giving you a break by just moving the thread and not doing anything else. Looks like I made a mistake and you need to get a better understanding that the rules apply to you. I highly suggest you pay very close attention to where you post in the future.

In all fairness, you have been here for almost a year. Have you searched for the info? Have you seen the fact that you can push the 7m to many different levels depending on the condition of the motor and the supporting mods you have? Then take another look at your question, and see that it does need more filling information. Your mileage, for example. Your current mods. The list goes on. And by the way, please rethink what side of the line you're on. :sarcasm: We are here to help... just not help those who don't help themselves. The info you are looking for has been supplied many times over. :icon_razz
