Cya: 3-4000 peak spool, keep the housing you have... As for wastegate, look into a TiAL 40mm or the HKS 40mm...

Gilber: There's nothing wrong with the SSA mani's... I've been doing this for a long time and have yet to hear any slag stories... Not saying there arent any, but if you're going to make that claim, back it up please... I've heard slag stories from modified pieces that were not properly cleared, but never from an off the shelf one... The old worry was from cracking, but you have guys that have been running them for a couple years now with no cracks...

the mp 70 is a 61mm turbo (60.5mm). the mp t70 is a 70mm turbo (69.9mm).

that changes a lot of the equipment requirements. as well as spool and power output. you need to make sure what you have before you get a lot of oversized equipment that you dont need.

...also when he says "Super 70", that reminds me of the SSAC/XSP "ebay" turbos which are completely different than the MP T70 w/ .8X exhaust side.

Although, he did say .68 exhaust housing which came on the MP T70.. but maybe the MP 70 too...

I say post some pics.

yeah you can get either one w/ a 68-1.15 a/r. the reason i thought it might be the 61mm was because i saw mention of the t3 housing for it. you wouldnt want a t3 on a 70mm turbo, or if it would even be available that way (mine arent). also the fact you arent going to have full boost at <4k on a 70mm turbo. it would be right around 4800 rpm.

Its a T70 I measured and came up w/ a 68 trim using a paper ruler and eye balling a when I got the turbo. To make sure a put it against my 67trim wheel for a visual reference. There is a T3 option that comes in a .70 A/R, i saw a few Bimmers using this option.

I'll get some pics up when I get a hold of a camera, If I don't like the spool I'll go with the smaller A/R w/ a loss of 50hp potential.
