manifold, wastegate, downpipe, fuel upgrades, and all the rest of the supporting mods.

You should be a little more specific though.

2.will i need to go standalone
3.wastegate spring
4.will I need bigger fuel lines
5.a round about estimate of how much i can expect to put down to the wheels
6.Where can I get a good deal on some wider rims and some G-Force tires
7.Dual Walbros or one Aeromotive
8.will i need a fuel cell
9.spark plug heat range
10.any problems you guys have run into using huge turbos?
11.Whats the lag estimate (rpm spool up)

this is all I can think of at this time, I was thinking of using my 61 but the deal on this is too sweat (too many good deals and not enough change).

any help or advice would be greatly apprecitaed, your brother is going big!!!

I can tell you that if you want to push the limits of this turbo you need something larger than a walbro, with upgraded fuel lines from the tank to the fuel rail and some injectors probably in the range of 780cc's. I'm running out of fuel at 15PSI w/ single walbro and 550's on this turbo.

I know another guy who is running out of fuel at 25PSI w/ single walbro and 740cc's. He was making 544whp on his 2JZ-GE NA-T at that boost.

Spool is fast on this turbo compared to the real lag monsters, of course thats very relative and my tach is off so I can't give you real numbers.

I run a 10PSI spring and turn up the boost via EBC.

You're gonna want to go standalone for this, might as well for all the other money you're spending.

Pretty much that's it... I didn't have many problems with this turbo but I'm running it on a 2JZGE.

what size of a line do I need to run from the tank? Im assuming i'll need to run an equal size of a return line? I haven't really experienced an extremly laggy turbos, 4,000 isn't really that bad to me (in theory).

Yeah, check out the last few pages of my build, you'll see my sump set up... I can post up more detailed pics of how it was made if you need... Actually, I need to post them in my thread anyway... But as far as your fuel system goes, I can give you a few tips on that... Like, your stock rail is FINE... Duane made over 800hp with the STOCK fuel rail... Our fuel rails are really big, believe it or not... He and I are running the same set up, -8AN inlet and a -6AN return, so that should work plenty for you... I was just looking for this info recently, kinda pieced it all together, so here ya go: the inlet is a 14mmX1.5 to -8AN adapter... The return is a 12mmX1.25 to -6AN adapter...

What fuel pump are you running? Assuming an external pump, correct? Make absolutely sure you have a PREfilter and a POSTfilter for your pump... Pre filter should be 85-100 micron and the post should be no less than a 40 micron... Use ONLY braided lines, none of that cheap rubber... If you dont want to sump your tank, you can do an internal/external set up... Do NOT use your stock pump internally though, you'll need to get a walbro or an mkiv pump, and basically, it will supply fuel to your external pump... The benefit to that is that you can mount your external pump anywhere, also you can use your internal pump's filter as the prefilter... Now, I dont know if there are any negatives to doing that kind of set up, if so, someone please post...

If you have any other questions, ask...

I was wondering about the lines today at work while slinging Frappuchinos im glad you answered that. Is thinking about the fuel pump setup as well, I was thinking of a dual Walbro setup (since I already have one) but im interested in the sump setup. If I dont go that route im thinking of going a1000 over the existing Walbro. Lots to look into. What an estimates on costs of Sump vs. External/Internal?

Well, Im lucky enough to have a good friend who's an excellent welder/fabricator... I have no idea how much it would cost to fab up a sump... I actually have a sump that I bough, but, we just made one ourselves out of cut & bend sheet metal... The one I have wont work, because our tanks arent flat, so to make it work, it would have to be modified, it was just easier for him to cut a piece of metal on the water jet...

Oh, and about your fuel lines, I said dont use rubber, well, you CAN use rubber on the return... But always use braided for the feed... The feed is under a lot of pressure, the return *from the FPR to the tank* is free flowing...

I was worried about lag, I'm afraid of it being too peaky. So you think bigger? Oh another thing, i got the ss auto manifold what wastegate should I go with? Im thinking of changing the flange to a TiAL.

ive got a greddy manifold and hks wastegate ill be parting with next week. if you want to do it right, get all name brand stuff..... especially when you're putting so much money into the rest of your car. there have been accounts of slag coming off from the ssautochrome manifolds and ruining turbines. not worth it to me
