Marques in the Park 2009 - Pics!!!!

Hi all,

Yesterday was Marques in the Park, held on Patrick White Lawns, in front of the Australian National Library, and right on the lake.

Was a great day, the Canberra Celica Group and ACT Supra Club combined and had over 20 cars on display.

I was unable to walk around and view the rest of show that was not in close proximity to our setup, as I had the little one with me, but I have pics of the Toyotas, and have linked some pics of the other cars from the ToyMods thread from my second post onwards.

nice pics! did you respray your car satin black or is it just the pics?

Nope, no respray (I wish though!). Bonnet has always been satin, and the lip has been done in satin.

Rest of the car has stock paint.

Such a nice show! I wish we could have such a nice gathering close to me.

Please say you won't be too upset if you ever see a picture of my hood propped open with a camshaft. A simple spanking would be OK though.

Lol, ok

I didn't have time to detail my engine bay, and the cam props the bonnet open just enough to see the shinies (carbon and rad), and covers the rest of the dirty uglies.

Got heaps of comments on it! Lol!
