I was wondering, can an engine made for a boat be used on land with a small radiator?

it would ROCK if someone knew anything about the Albin AD 2, i'll throw that out there in case anyone does.

basically i want to get this 2 cylinder 20hp Albin diesel engine to be usable on land for a little project of mine, but i'm not familiar enough with temps and such to tell if i could simply hook it up to a small radiator as seen on this Briggs and Stratton diesel:

the only main difference would be i'd have to add an electric fan. that B&S engine has a clutch or continuous type. i suppose that could get expensive huh? i dont know.

What am i using it for?
A gokart. maybe. i dont know enough but i think it COULD rock...but not if its going to burn up.

I think this motor was made in the 80's, and its got a raw water pump to pull water from whatever the boat/sailboat is floating in, so naturally i'd need to add a radiator and possibly a fan. i need to figure out if i can and if its cheap/easy.

When I serviced the diesel in my sailboat, It ran just perfectly fine sitting in my garage. It ran for 15mins at idle with no water cooling before it started to get any warm at all.

Just put a radiator on it with electric fan, problem solved. It will already have the water pump on it.

Just to let you know, my little 13hp 2 cly volvo penta weights about 300lb.
Generic pic of the model i have:

The engine might be from the late 70s, but keep in mind it's still worth about $2500 in it's perfectly running condition.

You're better off buying a new diesel thats not for marine applications, you can get a gokart sized one for about $1400.
