:1zhelp: I'm just finishing up a 1JZ swap and I'm trying to tidy things up a bit. Can someone show me a picture of where the stock location for the map sensor is? I can seem to spot the sucker in any of the pictures I have found.:aigo: Also is it hooked up to the vacuum line on the inside of the intake manifold near the bolts for the throttle cable plate (with the check valve)? If not what hooks up to that one? Any help would be great, thanks.

Yes, the vacum source is that check valve on the side of the intake mani.
Stock mounting is on the firewall. closer to the brake booster area. Keep it away from heat as the sealer tends to melt on it. ( its the black goo st the bottom of the sensor) . I just put two screws to hold it in place
It's not a check valve on teh intake, it's a filter.
How could the MAP sensor see vacuum AND boost if it was a check valve?
