I would like to buy the MBC by DrJonez.

Please, does anyone have a picture of one installed. I would like to get an idea of the very best place to mount the unit.

Also, I read where to send a PayPal pmt to him and cannot find that thread again. If you know how to reach him or have paid for one, please let me know.

It doesn't get "mounted" anywhere so to speak. It is installed in the center of the red vac line in the picture below. I had one of his MBC's and it worked flawlessly.

Picture something similar to this in the center of the vac line.

^x2. A buddy of mine made one last weekend. All of the parts were available at Ace Hardware. Cheap, easy, works great, and no special tools needed! Drill, bits, teflon tape, wrenches, etc... :icon_bigg

The Doc's are *nice*. I ran one for years. They are a straight through system instead of the ugly T setup that most people build, they have a locking ring to prevent losing your boost settings, and they are entirely shiny brass.

the big issue with water tank vac setups :biglaugh: once you spike at random its better to just get a locking one

I run his MBC, works like a champ. No pics of it mounted, but like that pic up there shows, it basically goes in the line between the turbo and wastegate. Easy to intalll, a lil tricky to "set" your boost level, but once you get it dialed in, its like that chicken cooker on TV, "set it and forget it" haha.

Thanks much guys. Special thanks to Techno Supra for taking the time to post a picture. Not sure about some of you that see that brand spanking new from the factory picture of the CT26... but what a sight to behold...
